This week we rolled out our latest product update from sprint 30.
Refinement and improvement was the theme in this update as we brought tweaks to our Tasks module and improved security to CEMBooks V2.
Tasks:
Through the autumn We’ve seen Tasks undergo testing in our sites prior to rollout which will be exciting to see. Following initial feedback we’ve added a “hover over” feature. On web browser placing your cursor over the comments associated with a Task will show the last 2 comments.
Task turnaround times have been extended for up to 12 hours to support use in longer stay areas such as SDEC where Tasks can be scheduled for later in the patients stay.
We’ve also added retained filters that remain in place after clicking into and out of a Task. This allows team leaders to fix a filter on the Tasks associated with their area or if you are performing all the Tasks for an area, say ecg’s, then you can fix a filter to just show all outstanding ecg’s that need completing.
We’re excited to see how this functionality helps support teams to deploy Tasks and move away from paper based jobs lists.
Auto logout
In line with our security operating procedures we’ve now added an enforced auto logout after a specified time period when using a public computer to minimise data security risks when working in busy environments such as an ED using ‘kiosk’ type workstations.
As always our future updates are shaped by feedbacks from our users. Please let us know how you are using the product and what we can do to improve your user experience. Email brad@cembooks.com with any feedback and watch out for our new user group communities which we’ll be launching later this spring!!
